Fundraising: Garage Sale

Today was my AIDS LifeCycle garage sale. I had a whole lot of things to sell in the house, and friends, neighbours and colleagues all donated more. The garage sale was a lot of fun: we got to speak to our neighbours (many of them for the first time) and hang out drinking sangria for most of the morning.

We also sold (or  gave away) some pretty strange stuff: hair-dressing posters from the 1980's, a half-working microwave oven and a wickedly heavy massage table. The photo is my roommate Nicole, our neighbour Quinn and everyone's favorite retro-electro-massage gun. Wow.

Most of the items we sold were for a dollar a piece,  but I raised about $200 today.
